How do we book?

Simply get in touch! First things first, send me a message to check my availability by getting in touch with your date and venue and I will get back to you usually within 48 hours. Great news I'm available! The next step is getting you officially booked by signing your contract and securing your date with a deposit. I know everyone is super busy so this is all done really easily by email. All the deposits are non-refundable and are £150 for any package. If you do want to meet me before booking I do wedding consultations at my studio in Haltwhistle usually mid week on Tuesdays & Wednesdays .
When will we receive our photographs?

Wooohooo you’re married!!! So what happens next? I’ll share a sneak peak a few days after your wedding on Facebook & Instagram (with your permission of course). Then the waiting time for your photos is up to 6-8 weeks after your wedding day. This may kill you (sorry) But just remember I’m super busy and square eyed editing away through all those photos I’ve taken and I will get them back to you ASAP!!! So remain calm ;) It will fly! Once they’re ready I’ll send you the link to view them all online! Put your feet up, have a drink and view them together! And then your wedding parcel with them all on USB will be ready for collection or post after that!
Do we get printing rights?

You’ll receive your edited HI-RES images on a personalised USB stick. You can do whatever you want with them. Print them, make your own album, post them on Facebook, share them with your friends and family, the sky’s the limit. There’s no hidden surprises. As far as I’m concerned you’ve paid for them, so I want you to enjoy them and there will be a document on your pen drive that states you can do so.
Do we meet you before the big day?

YES! Definitely! I love getting to know each other before your wedding. And if your feeling nervous about getting your photo taken then this is even more important as it will help you get to know me which in turn helps you relax with me on your wedding day. I like to do your meetings once you have all your final times with the venue and all your plans pinned down. So I usually recommend I do wedding meetings at my studio in Haltwhistle mid week on Tuesday and Wednesdays.

How soon do we need to book ?
Would you need to visit our venue before our wedding?
I don't do venue visits in advance, but I do research your venue fully before your wedding day. For me personally, they aren't necessary or helpful, simply because the photography on the day is all dependent on the available light and the weather in particular the sun. For new venues, I usually arrive slightly earlier on your wedding day to get a feel for the place before I start shooting. It's always great to have a fresh pair of eyes on the location. Don't worry I've done it many times before, you're in safe hands.
I get booked up as far as one-two years in advance for the summer months and I only take on a select number of weddings per year. It makes me so sad when couples fall in love with my work, only to find out I'm already booked for their date. As soon as you have a venue and a date, please get in touch to check my availability! Or even better get in touch to check my availability before securing you date and then we can definitely work together.

Where are you based and do you travel?
How many images do you include?
I don't have a fixed number of images but typically a wedding gallery can be anything from 600 images to 1000. This all varies depending on the wedding. For example the amount of guests, length of coverage, if you have entertainment, the added bonus of a sunset at the end of your day. All factors with can make the figure vary. Get in touch and I will send you an example of a full wedding gallery.
I'm based in Northumberland situated near Hadrians Wall. It's a great spot as I find I cover Northumberland, Cumbria & The North East. Which I love! There's so many stunning venues and people to meet. I am happy to travel. For venues that are out of my area there is an added charge of 40p per mile for travel. Or if your location is 2 hours plus away there will be accommodation included in this to ensure I'm near your venue the night before.
